LPS Opens Office in Nation’s Capital
Lender Processing Services (LPS) has expanded its operations with a new office in the heart of Washington, D.C. The office, which opened in February 2010, will house teams from the LPS Desktop®, LPS Government Solutions and LPS Applied Analytics divisions.
The close proximity of the LPS facility to federal government offices serves LPS and its clients well. LPS can respond more quickly to the needs of its government clients. Also, with its growing presence in the government space, LPS can pursue additional opportunities to assist in government efforts to streamline operations with both technology solutions and data products.
The LPS Desktop personnel include product, client relationship and management teams for the suite of products offered as part of the LPS Desktop Process Management application. Initiating a college recruitment pilot project is part of LPS Desktop’s investment in the expansion of the D.C. office, which is located near George Washington University, Georgetown University, American University and the University of Maryland. LPS will actively recruit college undergraduates to augment its roster of seasoned professionals.
“We are excited at the prospect of working with graduates of some of this country’s premier colleges and universities,” said Tela Gallagher, Senior Vice President, LPS Desktop and site manager of the D.C. office. “I’m looking forward to having the chance to mentor the next generation of LPS Desktop team members.”
LPS Desktop recently kicked off its recruitment efforts by participating in the American University Job and Internship Fair on March 25th at Bender Arena.
LPS Government Solutions’ office in the D.C. facility will enable LPS to better address the needs of its mid-Atlantic Region clients. Moreover, LPS will continue to assist in government efforts to find new ways to become more efficient.
“In this time of severe budgetary constraints, I am hopeful that government at all levels can benefit from the technology, products and services LPS has to offer,” said Robert Catron, Senior Vice President, LPS Government Solutions. “LPS is committed to supporting these efforts.”
LPS Applied Analytics, the third LPS division with an office in the D.C. facility, will be able to offer enhanced business and operational support to clients that benefit from Applied Analytics’ data aggregation and analytics services.
LPS’ services for the Washington D.C. market also include mortgage consulting, technology, data analytics and risk management for portfolios, benchmarking, due diligence and valuation.
