What was intended to be a one-time event has inspired MSpace and our partners to provide a consistent opportunity for families nationwide to connect with their heroes serving overseas. The next “Mission: See Your Soldier” will take place on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14, 2008. MSpace will be hosting a 3-day event in partnership with Glowpoint to highlight their newest solution software – Customer Connect (HD Video Call Center Solution).

Monday, January 7, 2008 marked the official opening of the MSpace Chicago Office. MSpace has had a long history of successfully serving the Chicago business community and has seen tremendous growth in our customer base there over the past two years. In an effort to better serve these customers and the growing requests for our services, we decided to take our focus one step further by establishing a presence in the downtown business district. Ross Denne will be leading operations and sales in Chicago, expanding the foundation of our growing business relationships in this great marketplace. MSpace was recently named the winner of this prestigious award. Sean Juarez, Glowpoint’s Director of Channel Sales for the Western Region states that “the Shared Vision Award is given to our partner who best shares the same ideas and goals. This partner is willing to think outside the box with creativity, spreading the word to make visual communication a more widespread tool. At the end of the day, this partner has done the best job in creating a winning solution for the customer.
In the spirit of the past holiday season, MSpace partnered with Freedom Calls Foundation, a non-profit charity located in New Jersey, to connect Minnesota families with their heroes serving in Iraq. There were two additional sponsors for the event, Glowpoint, an IP-based “video-centric” network provider and TANDBERG, a manufacturer of premier videoconferencing systems. Combining the strengths of these organizations enabled us to host a memorable and successful “Mission: See Your Soldier” event in our downtown Minneapolis showroom. In support of this great event, representatives from the offices of Minnesota Senators Norm Coleman and Amy Klobuchar were in attendance supporting the efforts of recognizing the honorable men and women that serve our country. KARE 11 News, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, captured a great segment of a family visiting with their son via the technological capabilities of videoconferencing – it was a true gift to witness, and wonderful to see on the 10P.M. news. To kick off the New Year in 2008, MSpace has selected the Best Year Yet™ system to execute their 2008 strategic plan. Hosted by Amp Performance in Minneapolis, MN, this year-long project will create a simplified approach to business planning and execution by aligning the team and prioritizing goals for the MSpace leadership team.
In 2008, MSpace has set a goal of providing opportunities for our customers that consistently inform them of all the ongoing changes and trends happening in the AV industry. In light of this effort, MSpace would like to announce their first quarterly event.
